18-Hole Mini Golf Course Construction at The Range @ Curlewis, Victoria

Mini Golf Creations designed and built this 18-hole mini golf course for The Range @ Curlewis on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, one hour from Melbourne and 15 minutes from Geelong. Completed in December 2017 across a 3,400m² site with 1,200m² of grass coverage, for a cost of justover $1,000,000, the course is now part of The Range @ Curlewis.

The course was built on an old rubbish dump with a sloping site, so it plays across various levels. Each hole has two levels of ability, which the venue calls Challenging and Extreme, so kids and adults can enjoy a fun day out together. Players navigate water, rocks and tunnels, and can warm up on the practice green first. The course is open from 7am to 10pm daily, with last tee-off at 9pm, and players can choose an 18-hole or 36-hole round.

What do people ask about The Range @ Curlewis mini golf course?

Who built the mini golf course at The Range @ Curlewis?

Mini Golf Creations designed and built the mini golf course at The Range @ Curlewis on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, completed in December 2017.

Can a mini golf course be built on an old rubbish dump?

Yes. Mini Golf Creations built the Curlewis course on an old rubbish dump, and the sloping site gave the course various levels. Ground conditions like these are worth assessing early, so our design and process starts with a site visit.

How do two levels per hole work on a mini golf course?

Every hole at Curlewis Mini Golf Course built by Mini Golf Creations has two levels of ability, which the venue calls Challenging and Extreme, so players choose the one that suits them. Kids and adults can play the same course together, and a practice green is there for warming up.
